There’s nothing quite like enjoying the holiday season with stories and characters you love. And this holiday season, fans of Netflix and Spin Master’s Unicorn Academy can celebrate the arrival of winter with an all-new special, Winter Solstice.
The last time fans caught up with the unicorn riders of Unicorn Academy was in the summer, with the previous special Legendary Summer. This time, we’re skipping ahead to the winter holidays and seeing fan-favorite Ava take the lead in a brand-new seasonal tale, arriving on Netflix November 13.

It’s the most magical time of year at Unicorn Academy. Ava is pumped to show everyone the best solstice ever, but her plans get foiled by a pesky Solstice thief. Ride with Ava, Sophia, Layla, Isabel, Rory and Valentina and save the holiday for everyone!
Are we excited or are we excited? Seasonal stories are always such a fun and festive way to ring in the holidays, and we’re thrilled to see what the celebrations look like on Unicorn Island.
Though we may have to wait a little longer for more adventures with Sophia and the rest of the riders, we’re counting down to this magical holiday special.
